TPS Heatexchangers has secured yet another high profile project with the brand new DCC, which is set to open in September 2010. This new eye catching building will host an array of International conferences and corporate events.

TPS in partnership with Sile have supplied 7600L of hot water generation using four 1400L and two 1000L high effieciency calorifiers to satisfy Domestic Hot water demand throughout the building. Also in conjunction with Sile we have provided a bespoke 3000L buffer storage vessel for chilled water in order to meet the specific demands of this project.

With over 8,000 delegates able to attend a single conference and many smaller meeting and banqueting rooms available our Sile BIM range cylinders were ideal to satisfy the high peak flow rates and short recovery times required. The extremely high quality calorifiers manufactured in AISI 316 Stainless steel, mean the Dublin Convention Centre will be insured of hygienic trouble free hot water for many years to come.

The DCC has also incorporated a number of Funke plate heat-exchangers to enable the centre to benefit from the forthcoming district heating loops within the Spencer Dock region. The heat-exchangers were individually designed and manufactured to the centres exact demands, as are all our units. We can design and calculate heat-exchangers for a completely diverse spectrum of applications and on this occasion the district heating units were designed using our gasketed plate models.
